Yesterday, as part of our work into Brazil and the World Cup, we made a model of the country using plastercine!
We used atlases and iPads to research the land of Brazil and were able to use different colour plastercine to show this. Following this, we used lollipop sticks to label the capital and most populated cities; label where matches had been played in the World Cup; and art straws to show position of the Amazon river.

Finally, Mark worked with myself and Mrs Ladlow to create a model of the Christ the Redeemer statue, the famous Brazilian landmark found in Rio De Janiero.
We think the resemblance is uncanny - we can't tell which is the original anymore! :)
